Summary:

It is a historical legendary drama filmed in mainland China from 2010 to 2011. It is jointly produced by Communication University of China, Qingdao Radio and Television Station, and Qingdao Sanguan Film and Television Media Co., Ltd. A historical and legendary drama co-starring popular stars from Mainland China, Hong Kong and South Korea such as Bosco Bosco, Myolie Wu, Ng Wei-Kuo, Cao Jun and Zhang Nara. It premiered on CCTV 8 on April 11, 2012.

The drama is the first historical drama in mainland China that reflects the racecourse culture. It is also Bosco Bosco's first work in the mainland. It is also the first time Bosco Bosco and Myolie Wu are "couple protagonists" in the mainland. There are even "father-daughter actors" Zhang Nara and Zhu Husheng acting on the same stage.

Synopsis The TV series "Horse Racecourse" is based on the May 4th Movement that broke out in 1919 and uses the Qingdao Racecourse as the stage. Zuo Tianyi, played by Huang Zongze, is a suave royal family who later became the chief jockey of the Qingdao Racecourse, and three people. The legendary experiences of Lu Bihui, Matsuno Akiko and Zuo Xiaomei, played by Myolie Wu, reproduce the fierce struggle between China's democratic and progressive forces and the three forces in Qingdao at that time to compete for Qingdao's sovereignty from 1911 to 1922. "Horse Racetrack" tells the story from the Revolution of 1911, the assassination of Yuan Shikai to the liberation of Qingdao. It is a history of the struggle of the Qingdao people against the German and Japanese colonial rule, with progressives represented by Zuo Tianyi and Lu Bihui.
