Summary:

Through sheer perseverance and with the support of his loyal friends Yiu Man Ying and Long Fei, the brother overcame a mountain of obstacles, eventually carving out a niche of success for himself.

Meanwhile, the older brother remained in Hong Kong, where solitary life steered him down a more questionable path. Seeking quick gains, he allied himself with a notorious gangster known as Keung Yung and entangled himself with a wealthy woman, despite his commitment to his girlfriend, Cheuk Jing. His moral lapses and unfaithfulness resulted in tragedy, leaving Cheuk Jing a shadow of her former self, stripped of her beauty and worldly possessions. The contrasts between the brothers' lives highlight a tale of choices and consequences, of diverging paths under the same family name.
