Summary:

In a vibrant and diverse New York City neighborhood, a rising college freshman finds his plans disrupted when a technological malfunction causes a gaming console to create a small tear in the fabric of reality, bringing video game creatures into the real world. As these digital beings wreak havoc in the city, it is up to the young student, with the help of his friends, family, and a mysterious, retired game designer, to save the day. The intrepid group employs their knowledge of gaming, quick-thinking, and bravery to take on the challenges presented by the creatures. With time running out, they must find a way to close the portal, send the creatures back to their digital realm, and restore order to the city, all while the boundaries between the digital and real worlds begin to blur.
