This show, oh my goodness, it's even better than Tong Nian and Han Shangyan's Love Story! Seriously, it's one of the most beautiful and heartfelt dramas I have ever watched, and I'm not exaggerating. I'm sitting here at three in the morning, sobbing like crazy because this show is just so incredibly beautiful. You know that feeling when something touches you so deeply, when it moves you to your core? Well, that's exactly what this show does. I can't even put it into words.

    It's like...

a piece of my heart now belongs to this show, and I wish I could watch it forever. Seriously, I want to show it to the whole world and teach them about kindness, friendship, hard work, and love. It's just that good.

One of the most amazing parts of this show is Wu Bai, played by Hu Yi Tian. Let me tell you, he nailed this role. Hu Yi Tian may not be my favorite actor, but he absolutely killed it as Wu Bai. He portrayed his personality, emotions, and character in such a stunning way. And can we talk about his eyes? They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and you can see just how much Wu Bai loves and adores Ai Qing just by looking into his eyes. Seriously, it's incredible.

But Wu Bai and Ai Qing aren't the only fantastic characters in this show. Every single character, from both SP and KK teams, is represented so well. They're like a big family, and you can't help but feel so much affection for all of them. I found myself rooting for both teams because each character had a special place in my heart.

What I love even more about this show is how it showcases teamwork and the importance of relying on others. Whether it's in romance, friendship, or even in the workplace, the way they demonstrate it is truly beautiful. Yes, SP and KK are rivals, but they also have the utmost respect and trust for each other. Seeing that kind of dynamic is rare, and it was truly stunning.

Now, I have to admit, there were some cheesy scenes that made me cringe with joy, and the climax of the show was a bit slow and focused on the plot. But even with that, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. The screenwriter deserves all the praise and awards for creating such a captivating love story and showcasing different forms of love between family, friends, partners, and colleagues. I wish I could give them a hug because this show is just devastatingly beautiful.

I honestly can't find the right words to describe how much I love this show. I cried while watching it, and I cried because it's just so damn beautiful. These characters will stay with me for a long time, and the ending was one of the best happily-ever-afters I've seen. Thank you, "Appledog's Time," for this incredible show. You will always be remembered.

Okay, guys, I just finished this drama and let me tell you, it's a must-watch! Seriously, one of the best sequel/spinoffs ever! As I'm sitting here writing this review, I can't help but have a huge smile on my face. ? Now, I've seen some negative reviews and comments floating around, and I have to wonder if we all watched the same show! Sure, the first couple of episodes didn't blow me away like I expected, but as the series progressed, it really grew on...

    me.

So, as we all know, this story is all about DT and Appledog's romance with a lot less focus on the gaming aspect (although it's still there, don't worry). I found the story to flow pretty smoothly, especially since the timeline was already set by the previous series. Sure, there were a few loopholes, but nothing major. Personally, I was totally invested in both the main couple's romance and the sports element.

Speaking of romance, the chemistry between the main couple, DT and AQ, was off the charts! They had the most screen time and let me tell you, they nailed those kisses. Their relationship felt so natural, and the best part was, there was no unnecessary drama once they started dating. This is a big difference from the previous series, which didn't give us much in terms of romantic moments. But here, it's filled with them. ?

Now let's talk about the acting. All the actors and actresses in this show were fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to HYT for another adorable performance. Seriously, DT is every girl's dream boyfriend! And can we talk about the soundtrack? It's excellent!

I will admit, there were a few moments that frustrated me, especially when SP was winning. I just wanted that part to be over so K&K could win the championship. But overall, those frustrations were minimal compared to the joy I felt watching this series.

I'm actually planning to rewatch it tomorrow. That's how much I loved it. So, if any of you are on the fence about whether or not to watch this show, don't hesitate any longer. Trust me, you'll come out of it with a big smile on your face. ?

Season two of this drama may not be as good as the first one, but trust me, it's still worth a watch! If you're a fan of the original Go Go Squid, you might find the storyline a bit predictable since it's pretty much the same. However, if you're new to the series, get ready to fall in love with this fresh take on the story. Let me break it down for you.

This season doesn't continue the exact events of the first one, nor is...

it a spinoff. Instead, it brings us the same story but from the perspective of different characters, DT and Appledog. They show us what they went through both professionally and personally during the first season, which primarily focused on Gun and Tong Nian. Sounds interesting, right? Well, on paper it is, but in reality, it lacks that special spark that set the original apart. It's hard to stay fully engaged when you already know what's going to happen.

At the beginning, there are some flashbacks about the original Solo team, and I thought it was just to give us some background information. But the flashbacks kept going, showing Solo arguing with his ex over their child's custody and Appledog's interest in becoming an announcer. Then Xiao Mi starts having trouble at SP and decides to retire. Finally, when Xiao Mi gets hired at K&K, it hit me that this season won't have its unique storyline. It's reenacting a lot of scenes from the first season with different actors and a fresh perspective. Sadly, it became a bit too predictable for me, like watching season one all over again minus some familiar faces. So don't expect the story to pick up where it left off until a few episodes in when they head to the world championships.

But fear not! The one thing that shines in this drama is the romance between DT and Appledog. They have fantastic chemistry, and their love story is realistic and heartwarming. If you're a fan of romantic comedies with genuine kisses and plenty of skinship, you'll absolutely adore seeing them together. Trust me, it's worth watching just for their romance.

Although the storyline disappointed me a bit, there were some aspects I genuinely enjoyed. For example, learning why the club was named K&K was so sweet. And the explanation behind Wubai's nickname DT will melt your heart. The return of Grandpa, who's just too adorable, brought a smile to my face. Seeing the backstory of Appledog's decision to become a commentator was a nice touch. And I loved the multiple appearances of Gun and Tong Nian, it was great to see them again. Plus, being able to see the conclusion of their story and witness their journey to the world championships was incredibly exciting!

Now, let's talk about the downsides. Firstly, a significant portion of the storyline is a rehash of the first season, lacking originality. Secondly, the switch from CTF to robots took away some of the charm. The dynamic of the CTF team, each member playing a specific role and their camaraderie during competitions, had a special warmth to it. But with robots, it's just individual players competing, missing that team spirit. Lastly, the inconsistencies between the two seasons bothered me. If you're going to retell the same story from a different perspective, stick to the original storyline without changes. In this season, DT takes on the role Gun had in managing and leading the team to victory. Solo's living situation with the original team also didn't match up compared to the last season. And Xiao Mi's girlfriend, who was Tong Nian's best friend in the first season, disappears entirely. As someone who dislikes inconsistencies and plot holes, these were a letdown.

Although I initially planned on deducting stars, I simply couldn't resist adding half a star back for the ending. It beautifully wraps up everything, bringing all the characters together in a heartwarming reunion. Trust me, it's one of the most satisfying drama endings you'll see.

In conclusion, while season two of this drama may not reach the heights of its predecessor, it's still an enjoyable watch. Prepare yourself for moments of boredom as you witness the same storyline being reenacted. The inconsistencies between the seasons might bother you too. However, the fantastic acting and breathtaking romance will save the day. And the heartwarming reunion with some beloved characters from the first season is simply the cherry on top. So, grab some popcorn and give it a go!

I had high hopes for Dt. Appledog's time, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. After recently rewatching Go-Go Squid, I couldn't help but compare the two, and Dt. Appledog's time just didn't measure up. The plot was mediocre, and I was left wanting more. The original cast of Go-Go Squid had an undeniable chemistry that this cast lacked. Moreover, the sets in Dt. Appledog's time felt cold and empty, quite the opposite of the cozy feeling I had while watching Go-Go Squid.

    It was...

a relief to see Hu Yi Tian finally given some dialogue, and his chemistry with Li Yi Tong was decent. I found myself rooting for them throughout the series. However, despite this small bright spot, I couldn't bring myself to fully invest in their story. Perhaps if I hadn't watched Go-Go Squid beforehand, I might have found Dt. Appledog's time more interesting. But for those who have yet to see either series, I would highly recommend starting with Go-Go Squid instead. Dt. Appledog's time simply didn't capture the magic that made its predecessor so enjoyable.

This TV series offers a saccharine storyline that may leave viewers craving a little more depth. With no plot twists or surprises, it falls into the realm of predictable and unrealistic fairy tales. The lack of hardships or conflicts makes it difficult to truly connect with the characters and their journey. However, if you enjoy uncomplicated and happily-ever-after endings, this show might appeal to you. The chemistry between the leads is lacking, and the suddenness of one character's emotional shift feels unconvincing. Overall, if you're...

in the mood for an overdose of fluff, this show might satisfy, but for those seeking a more realistic portrayal of life, it may come across as bland.
