Despite the earnest efforts imbued by a capable cast, one could not help but feel a sense of letdown attributed to the guidance, or lack thereof, provided by the series' scriptwriters and helmsman. In the realm of storytelling, even the most valiant performances can falter in the absence of a robust, dynamic script and visionary direction.
