I'd give this drama a solid rating. Although the story didn't captivate me as much, it's still pretty good. The female lead's acting was impressive, she really brought her characters to life. And let's talk about the ending for a sec, it was something else. It's the first Chinese drama where I actually felt satisfied with how it wrapped up, even though it wasn't exactly a "happily ever after." I still enjoyed it. The only thing that didn't sit well with me were the action...

scenes. They just didn't look believable. Every time the girl got herself into trouble, the male lead swooped in to save the day, even though she was more than capable of handling things on her own. That's my only gripe with this drama, really.

So, there's this fantastical time travel drama that just hit the mark! Now, if you're into fluffy, light and sweet romance, this one might not be your cup of tea. It's more for the drama lovers who crave a good storyline, meaningful content, and some valuable lessons. Let me tell you, if you call yourself a true content lover and you missed this masterpiece, you've definitely missed out!

Now, the main reason I started watching this series was because of Chen Zheyuan. I mean, the guy...

is a talent bomb and his good looks are just icing on the cake! After watching this show, it's clear to me that he doesn't just pick any script to be in the show business. No, his script choices are always on point, showing how much he loves his job and how dedicated he is to delivering top-notch content to the audience. Plus, he has this magic that can make you laugh and fall in love with his characters.

Now, let's talk about the drama as a whole. Even though it's fictional, it's so well-crafted that you can actually believe everything they show you. They manage to provide logical explanations for every seemingly unbelievable incident, whether it's the characters living for many years or the intricate love story. It's truly impressive how they make it all so plausible.

The lead actress did a great job with both of her roles, but when it came to capturing that romantic chemistry with Chen Zheyuan, something felt a bit off. Maybe it's just because I'm a huge fan of his and loved his chemistry with Liang Jie in "Handsome Siblings" and Rainbow Xu in "Our Secrets." I just couldn't fully buy into them being a couple, especially considering their real-life age difference, which was somewhat visible.

But overall, if you're watching this for Chen Zheyuan, you won't be disappointed. Get ready to dive even deeper into your love for him because he truly shines in this series. It's definitely worth a watch if you're up for an enchanting time travel adventure!

I was initially drawn to this drama due to the inclusion of Chen Zhe Yuan, and I can confidently say that he delivered a fantastic performance. While the female lead didn't capture my interest in the beginning, she improved as the series progressed and left a positive impression by the end. The drama started off with a light and humorous tone, but gradually transitioned into a more serious and emotional story.

As the plot unfolded, I found myself invested in the characters and their journeys. The...

time traveling aspect added an intriguing layer to the narrative, making it a worthwhile watch for anyone who enjoys this genre. However, it's worth noting that the ending is guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings and elicit tears. It's a poignant conclusion that wraps up the story on a happy note.

All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this drama for those seeking a compelling series with a time traveling storyline. Chen Zhe Yuan's performance, coupled with the evolving tone and emotional depth of the plot, make it a satisfying viewing experience. Just be prepared for a bittersweet finale that will leave you reaching for the tissues.

This show is seriously one of the best I've ever seen, but it's totally underrated. Trust me, it's got everything you could ever want - comedy, drama, friendship, and the most heartwarming romance ever. At first, I had my doubts about Chen Zhe Yuan and Dong Qing as a couple, but they totally proved me wrong. Their chemistry is off the charts, and unlike other Asian dramas, they actually act like they're head over heels for each other. They're so touchy-feely, and the female lead...

isn't afraid to admit her feelings for the male lead.

The characters in this show are all so unique and interesting. There are some surprising twists and turns, a good dose of angst, and let's not forget about the most adorable male lead of all time. The acting is seriously on point, especially Chen Zhe Yuan. He completely transformed into his character and made him come to life. I laughed, I cried, and I felt every emotion right alongside him. I'm not one to cry while watching dramas, but this guy ripped my heart out. Fun fact: he actually passed out during a super intense and sad scene because he was so into character. Now, that's what I call dedication.

I really can't recommend this show enough. The music is absolutely phenomenal, and the opening sequence and theme song are so good that I could watch them over and over again. I'm honestly going to miss this show so much. It's been a wild ride, and I'm so glad I hopped on board. Trust me, you won't regret giving it a shot.

This drama is a mishmash of genres, trying to cater to every taste, which unfortunately leads to some confusion. Despite a slow middle section, the ending solidifies it as a truly memorable series. The story begins with Zhen Jun, a man who supposedly died in historical China but wakes up in modern day China, with an immediate connection to Zhen KeYi, who bears a striking resemblance to his half brother. Zhen Jun ends up living in Zhen KeYi's house, showcasing his "super" powers and his...

charm after a modern makeover. The performances are commendable, although the low budget shows in some areas, like the stunt doubles, special effects, and dubbing. However, the chemistry between lead characters and supporting cast is palpable, with their relationships feeling authentic and genuine. The romantic elements of the series are particularly well-executed, with a beautiful soundtrack that complements the story. It's worth noting that the presence of cats in the earlier parts adds an adorable touch to the show. However, halfway through, the tone shifts towards a crime thriller, reminiscent of The X-Files. The tragic backstory of Zhen Jun's prolonged period of suspended animation is gradually unveiled, along with the reasons why the third male lead is protecting him. This unexpected turn adds depth and intrigue to the plot, involving supporting characters in the modern day. The final episodes take a bittersweet and heartbreaking turn, with plot twists that are sure to leave viewers emotionally moved. Even skeptics may find themselves shedding a tear or two. Overall, this series offers something for everyone and proves to be much more than meets the eye. It is undoubtedly one of the hidden gems of the year.
