Get ready to be educated and swept off your feet by this adorable medical drama! While it falls into the same cute and educational category as other shows in its genre, it is definitely a standout. I mean, who knew medical treatments could be so entertaining?
The show takes a realistic approach to medicine, with its methods heavily influenced by real life. I found myself pausing and Googling the ingredients used in the drama, even though a large portion of the information was in Thai. It...was so much fun to learn alongside the characters!
Speaking of characters, they were an absolute joy to watch. Each one embodied a typical family role, but there was a twist - two wives! I loved how this unorthodox dynamic was normalized and showcased the inner workings of the household. Thong-On was the cheeky little brother, while Thong-Thae played the role of the responsible older brother. They were all so typical, yet had their own unique and vibrant personalities.
And let's not forget about the romance! It was an adorable slow burn that had me rooting for the couple from the start. The chemistry between them was off the charts, and their journey from annoyance to friends to lovers was simply heartwarming. Some viewers may have wanted the romance to progress faster, but I personally enjoyed the struggles and dangers that pushed them to realize their true feelings.
The story itself was great, although I did have one minor issue - the pacing. The focus of the episodes kept switching between the main character, Bua, and Thong-On, depending on who was driving the narrative at the time. While this was fine, there were moments when irrelevant plotlines crept in, making some episodes feel a bit disjointed. However, don't let that deter you! I still highly recommend watching this drama series.
In fact, it's so addictive that I went as far as installing a VPN just to access a website where it was available in my country. That's dedication, right? And I can definitely see myself re-watching it in the future, perhaps with a friend who hasn't experienced its magic yet.
Oh, and let me tell you about the last episode - even though I only understood a fraction of the Thai dialogue, Bua's lines were the epitome of romantic cuteness. The translation didn't do them justice! But hey, no spoilers here. You'll have to watch and see for yourself. Trust me, you won't regret it!
