Warning: Spoilers ahead! So, there's this C-drama that I recently watched, and let me tell you, it had some seriously awesome firefighter mission scenes. I mean, it really gave you a taste of what these heroes go through on a daily basis. Sometimes the rescues were simple, but other times they were intense and life-threatening. That part was definitely the highlight for me.

Now, let's talk about the characters. Despite the flaws in the plot, I found myself strangely attached to them. Their friendship and loyalty...

to one another was really heartwarming. You could tell they had each other's backs no matter what. It was that bond that kept me invested in the show, even when things weren't going so well.

Unfortunately, there were a few things that went wrong with this drama. First of all, the story plot. It started off strong with some interesting content, but it felt rushed and didn't get the attention it deserved. They could have expanded on those events and made them more impactful. Instead, they introduced a pointless villain and threw in some episodes about corruption. I mean, come on, this is a show about firefighters, not crime fighters.

And speaking of romance, it was seriously lacking in detail. It was like the couples just magically liked each other from the beginning, when that wasn't even the case for some of them. The chemistry between the leads was good, but I needed to see more development in their relationships. A little progression goes a long way, you know?

The transition and editing in this drama were also pretty bad. The flow from scene to scene felt disjointed, like they were trying to cram too many ideas into one episode. And don't even get me started on the editing mistakes. Sometimes characters would be talking, but the camera would be focused on someone else, so you had no idea who was speaking. It was frustrating to say the least.

Despite all its flaws, the drama did manage to have a happy ending. But honestly, it felt kind of pointless given everything that had happened. I guess I stuck around because of the cast. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely had the potential to be better if it had been given more time to develop.

So, that's just my opinion. If you're still curious and want to give it a shot, go ahead. Just keep in mind that it's not the greatest drama out there, but it has its moments.

I recently watched a series featuring Gong Jun, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with it. While I initially enjoyed the quirky editing and the average plot and characters, the show quickly lost its charm for me. The pacing was off, and it seemed as though the episode count may have been cut to fit a specific theme. The editing was also strange, with flashbacks to scenes that were never actually included in the final cut. The female lead, played by Yan Lan, was an...

unbearable character who lacked depth and seemed to have an abundance of free time for a doctor. The villain was poorly developed and their villainous acts felt forced towards the end.

One of the major letdowns for me was the lack of emotional connection. In comparison to another series called "You Are My Hero," where the hurt/comfort dynamic and the development of the main couple were given more focus, this series felt rushed and lacked chemistry. Even the introduction of other heterosexual couples failed to evoke any feelings in me. However, I did enjoy the friendship between Wang Yizhou's character, Li Yan Liang, and Doctor Ji Yuan. Their relationship was more engaging than any of the romantic pairings in the show. Overall, I was relieved when I finally reached the last episode, and I would suggest investing time in "You Are My Hero" or other Gong Jun dramas instead.

Hey, this show is just entertaining, nothing too serious. I always like to give credit to the hardworking production team, crew, and cast members of TV series who try their best to bring us a good show. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they don't. In this case, they did a pretty good job!

I really enjoyed watching this drama from an entertainment standpoint. The story is simple and the episodes are short. Plus, there are two great actors in it. Simon Gong, whom I've seen in "Word...

of Honor" and "Flavor It's Yours," delivers a solid performance. And Zhang Hui Wen, who I've seen in "Love a Live Time," "Nirvana in Fire," and "Legend of Fei," adds a cute charm to her character.

As I mentioned earlier, the story revolves around the lives of a Firefighter Rescue Unit and their counterparts, the doctors and nurses at the emergency hospital. Of course, these two sides come together and cooperate during rescue operations, leading to some interesting interactions.

This drama showcases various rescue operations, from multiple car accidents to suicide attempts, raging fires, collapsed buildings, and even earthquake disasters. They really put in effort to make the scenes as realistic as possible. Some scenes are done well, especially the ones involving fire. However, scenes with collapsing buildings and rubble do look a bit staged.

There are certain rescue attempts that may seem unrealistic, like immediately moving a patient without neck support. It's important to note that this may not be something you'd see in Western medical or emergency series. So, for a more realistic portrayal of rescue operations, this show may fall short.

I must say, Simon Gong deserves applause for his portrayal of Huo Yan. He brings the character to life with his acting skills. He can be as solid as a rock, calm and composed when assessing situations, quick and decisive when the need arises, and even funny and childish at times. He can also convincingly display worry and vulnerability. So, thumbs up to Simon Gong for his performance!

Zhang Hui Wen plays Yan Lan, a resident doctor. She's cute, fun, and beautiful, and she clearly receives a lot of love from her parents. She has big dreams but also feels insecure. Sometimes, she can be tough when rescuing people, but when it comes to her own safety, she tends to be fragile. That's why when she meets Huo Yan's character, she immediately finds comfort, even if it's just hearing his calming voice.

The chemistry between both actors is great, and you can see the sparks in their eyes when they interact.

Now, when it comes to the storytelling, I have to admit that there are some parts that seem to be skipped. The early stages of Huo Yan and Yan Lan's relationship are not clearly portrayed. This could be a flaw in the script or the editing, causing some scenes to be missing.

I find myself amused by this type of story that showcases courage, dedication, and love for the motherland. It might seem like propaganda, but who cares? They weave it into the story quite well.

So, despite a few flaws here and there, if you're just looking for an entertaining show, this series will do the trick. But if you're a stickler for details and find it annoying when there are jumps and gaps in the story, you might not enjoy it as much.

Surprise Surprise, It's Actually Not That Bad!

When I first started watching this TV series, I was a little worried that it might turn out to be a cheesy mess. But guess what? I was pleasantly surprised! While the story line did have its fair share of cheesiness, the characters totally won me over.

Let's talk about the leads. Both of them were fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to the female lead. She was a total boss lady - strong-minded, independent, and not...

afraid to stand up for herself. And the male lead? Oh boy, he was not only funny but also incredibly cute and supportive. Talk about boyfriend goals!

Now, let's not forget about the second male lead. At first, I thought he would be one of those creepy, obsessive types. But hey, turns out he was just a big softie who only wanted the girl he loves to be happy, even if it meant being with someone else. I mean, can we get a round of applause for this guy?

Sure, there were a few medical errors here and there that the writers didn't bother researching, and the whole twist with the evil guy and his shady drug dealings felt a bit too mafia for my taste. Seriously, couldn't he have had some broader ambitions than just harming one person? But hey, I'm willing to overlook those flaws because there were some seriously awesome things about this series.

One aspect that stood out to me was the absence of the usual parental drama and annoying love triangles. After all, these are adults we're talking about. It was refreshing to see a show that focused on the main relationships without unnecessary distractions.

I must say, the actors did a fantastic job with their performances. Sure, there were a few thrilling moments and some slightly disappointing action scenes, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. So go ahead, give it a shot, and let yourself be pleasantly surprised, just like I was!

This drama, unfortunately, does not live up to expectations when it comes to its storyline. While the actors did a commendable job in portraying their characters, the overall plot falls short. The series revolves around a doctor and a firefighter who develop a romantic relationship. However, it fails to explore the depth of the doctor's character and lacks the medical knowledge or terminology that one might hope for in a drama centered around a medical professional.

Furthermore, the show includes several scenes that are unrealistic and...

do not make sense. For example, when one of the characters falls from a high place, there is strangely no blood coming from their head, despite previous injuries. Additionally, the CPR scene takes place in the operating room instead of the emergency room, which goes against standard medical protocol. These inconsistencies detract from the authenticity of the series, leaving viewers disappointed.

In conclusion, if you are solely interested in watching Gong Jun's acting, then this drama might be worth a watch. However, if you are seeking a captivating storyline with accurate medical portrayals, it would be best not to waste your time and money on this particular series.
