If I had to compare this drama to an animal, I'd choose a skunk. You know, those cute little creatures that end up being stinkers? Well, that's exactly how I feel about this show. It starts off all innocent and charming, but then it sneaks onto your MDL Currently Watching list and leaves a really bad odor. Just like skunks love boxes, this drama's plot is as dull as a cardboard box. And just like skunks are black and white, this show is equally boring....

The stinky smell of a skunk never seems to go away, and unfortunately, this drama feels like it's going on forever. Trust me, do yourself a favor and shield yourself from this terrible show. Find something more exciting to watch, even if it means watching paint dry. Seriously, I urge you, don't waste your time on this one.

Once in a while, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on a TV series, even if it's been a while since I last wrote a review. The TV series I'm about to discuss is one that seems to divide opinion among viewers. It's that kind of show where you either love it or hate it. Personally, I find myself somewhere in the middle. It didn't blow me away, but it had a certain warmth that I appreciated. So, if you're in the mood for...

a drama where the plot seems to go in circles, then you might just find this show intriguing. Yes, the story progression might seem like it's going... nowhere. But before you dismiss it, let me assure you that it's not without its charms.

Let's start with the positives. Kim Rae Won, a seasoned actor, delivers a solid performance, proving his versatility as he tackles whatever the show throws at him. And for the female viewers out there, the show also offers a refreshing male character - kind, hardworking, and mature. He's the kind of guy who still holds onto his dreams while embracing the responsibilities of adulthood. It's a different side of Korean dramas than what we're used to, and it's worth tuning in just to see Kim Rae Won in action.

Another standout performer is Jang Mi Hee, a veteran actress who brings her character to life with grace. Playing the role of a reformer, she manages to make us laugh at her eccentricity and root for her to find the absolution she longs for. Even if you decide to skip through the rest of the show, it's worth checking in just to witness Jang Mi Hee's moments.

Seo Ji Hye, who often falls into the "hit or miss" category as an actress, pleasantly surprises in her portrayal of Sharon. While she may not exhibit the same level of control over her facial expressions as some other actors, she captures the essence of her character perfectly. Regardless of the lack of development in Sharon's story, which may have been intentional, Seo Ji Hye brings a sense of entitlement and humor to the role. If nothing else, watch a few clips of Sharon for some comedic entertainment.

As for the rest of the cast, it's enjoyable to see Shin Se Kyung and Kim Rae Won embrace their cheesy and adorable moments together. However, Shin Se Kyung's character falls a bit flat, serving primarily as a placeholder for the other characters to revolve around. It's a shame, as she has the potential to bring much more depth to her role.

Now, you might be wondering what the point of this lengthy review is. I suppose what I'm trying to say is, don't let the naysayers discourage you. Sometimes, it's nice to simply grab a bag of popcorn, cozy up on a rainy day, and give a show like this a chance. It may not be groundbreaking, but it offers beautiful cinematography, decent music, and visually appealing cast members to enjoy for a few hours. And once you've had your fill, you can move on without any regrets.

So, go into it without any expectations, embrace the humor, and most importantly, don't overthink things. Sometimes, that's exactly what we need - a show that allows us to relax and have a few good laughs.

This review is for a drama that has received a lot of criticism, but I believe it is worth watching. The drama explores the concept of advanced reincarnation, similar to another popular drama called Goblin. It delves into themes of strong love, jealousy, memories, and the challenges of life. It also explores the lengths people are willing to go to in order to become wealthy, and questions the motives behind the desire for riches. The story incorporates elements of travel, both physical and through time,...

as well as various adventures. It also touches on the struggles and motivations of work life.

The drama is quite rich in content, which makes it difficult for me to understand the intense dislike some people have for it. While I agree that it may not deserve a perfect rating, I believe it at least warrants a decent score. The show started off strongly but did become slow and occasionally complicated as it progressed. However, the characters were well-developed, particularly Shin Se Kyung who showed significant improvement in her acting skills. Her chemistry with Kim Rae Won was also commendable. The ending was quite interesting, as the main character made the decision to live forever in order to be with the one he loves. Personally, I found the ending to be quite satisfying. Additionally, like the drama Goblin, the soundtrack was quite enjoyable.

This TV series is a complex and captivating story that spans two lifetimes - one in the past and one in the present day. Though it may take a few episodes to fully grasp the plot, I assure you it's worth sticking with. The narrative effortlessly transitions between the present-day storyline and scenes from history, providing necessary background information at the right moments and ensuring that you won't feel overwhelmed. The inclusion of both Joseon and modern-day elements adds depth and historical context to the...

    overall story.

I was initially drawn to this series because of Shin Se Kyung's previous work, and her performance in this drama only further impressed me. Kim Rae Won, who plays the male lead, also delivers a charismatic and compelling portrayal. I found very few faults in this emotionally charged series – it will tug at your heartstrings, make you reach for tissues, and warm your heart. The characters are well-developed, allowing you to empathize even with the antagonists.

The ending of the series left me emotionally wrecked for days. While it concludes the story nicely, I recommend preparing yourself with something light-hearted and uplifting to watch afterwards. Overall, I highly recommend this series without any reservations. The final slide was the perfect ending touch, and I applaud the entire cast and crew for their work.
