Summary:

It is a wuxia interpretation of Sun Bing and Pang Juan's history. In a nutshell, both start out as good friends, who learn martial art together, fall in love with the same woman, and Pang Juan would eventually turn evil, does a lot of bad deeds and kills off many characters and ultimately leads to Sun Bing's downfall, even causing him to lose his kneecaps and rely on a wheelchair. Mimi Kung plays as Sima Ching,the daughter of Sima Ping a powerful General. At the end after everyone is dead, Sun Bing and Sima Ching have a happy ending after combining forces to kill Pang Juan (even though the latter fights in a wheelchair because he can't walk). Gwai Guk Chi is a powerful Taoist who teaches Sun Bing all his skills, he had many disciples but were all massacred one by one because of Pang Juan. He is one of the few who don't die at the end.
